It's toooo HOT for walkies.

This picture is for the Relentlessly Huge...I understand he collects pictures of fanny furries. Girls in pantaloons. Everybody needs a hobby. I wonder if he lets the PeeWee see his collection?

Crazy WOMAN took me for my 3 mile walkie at 5pm today...it was so HOT I thought we'd not make it back home. SHE didn't bring her cellphone and it was obvious by the time we got 1.5 miles out we were both suffering. She couldn't call the Mr. to come fetch us in the truck. So we limped home best we could. I walked on the grassy verge and she switched from side to side of the road to try to stay in shade. We took lots of stop and pant breaks. It had been raining all day and the sun came out and made it STEAMY.

As soon as I hit the front hall, I stretched out on the cool tile. It took me a while to chill out. The Mr. had to bring us both water cuz we were wiped out. She was all red in the face. It's toooo flippin hot....will it ever cool down?

We left Puffy back home in the A/C. That was a GOOD idea. He'd have pased out from the heat.

I'm going to go soak my feetsies in the water bowlie.

What is it with these humans? They should take us swimming, not walking, in that kind of weather! Sounds like you do the froggie pose too - I find it the most efficient way to cool one's belly!!

P.S. sorry we forgot to include that in our name game!

Wooos! Soaking the feet is a good idea, you need a pool too, like me, that helps! I like to soak my belly.

We're just about to go for an afternoon walkie and it's the same thing. Hot. Hot sidewalks. Even the grass in the sun is too hot. I hope this walk is short and sweet.

Nice picture of your tail.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Yep, we know how awful it is when the temps soar and we're exhausted from the heat and the humidity.

We go out only in the early morning and late evening -- with just a quick trip to the pee bush at mid-day.

Oh dearie me/us - what a dreadful story of your long long walk in the hot hot weather. You are going to need to jump on a plane anc come over to Scotland.
You will not have to worry about the hot weather here!
What is it with Mango? And what is it with pantaloons - we are going to need to ask him!
Take it easy sweet girl - get the Mr to wait on you paw and paw!!!!

We got hot and thirsty just reading about your walk, and it made us miss (in a masochistic sort of way) our Gramma's house in Florida.

Think water and cool tile floors. Belly down.

Glad you survived.
