Walkie time!

Finally, SHE remembered to bring a flashy box on a walkie!
This is where I live.
It used to be ALL  like this until they built big ole houses on
the beach.

I like to walk with my Mr.
He doesn't care anything about all that HEEL and walking
the Cesar Millan way.
He just likes to go on walkies.
No rules.

Lots to sniff about.
Crabs scuttling along the edges of the water.
All kinds of little holes to stick yer snooter in,
kinda like starter digging holes.

Let's take the road less traveled.
THIS way!

Ok, FINE!
We'll do it your way this time.

Off road?
You sure?

Wait!
There might be somethng tasty under here.

I just love walkies at sunset.
Nice cool breezes.

The beach is full of wildflowers this time of year.
SHE forgot to take photos of them until the end of the walk.
Here's a cluster of black eyed susans.
Lots of those.

SHE needs to work on her camera skills.
Sun flare from the sunset.

Ok, all done.
Let's go to the pizza place now.
It's on the way home.

Oh...wait...SHE says I hafta splain that our beach isn't a gulf beach.
It's a BAY beach.
We live on the inside of Tampa Bay,
so our beach is wild,
not touristy.

Oh Bonnie, a no rules walk on a wild and untouristy beach. That sounds like heaven. Gail, when can we go?
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
PS Gail says we are very lucky in the UK 'cos nobody is allowed to own the beach, even if they have a big house just back from shore they can't stop you from walking by the sea.

We're trying to picture where your beach is. Hopefully it will be protected from the mess that's coming.

Years ago -- eight and a half to be precise -- Mom hired a trainer to teach me stuff. I got sit and off and down pretty easily. But when it came to heel -- fuhggedaboutit! The trainer said I was the stubbornest dog he ever met -- and my Mom said "Bye, Mr Trainer. I don't care if my Jake knows how to heel or not."

So our walkies are like yours -- sometimes I lead and sometimes I "walk with Mom." But we always have fun!! Ditto for my goofy brother, JH.

Wirey woofs,

Jake

Great photos. There is nothing so wonderful as a walk on the beach. Of course if you were in Scotland then those gentle evening breezes would be replaced by rain bearing gales.

Hi Bonnie

Love the pics. I have never been to the seaside as we live in the middle of England, about as far away from the sea as you can get. It looks lovely, white sand, interesting things to seek out in grassy clumps.

Well done to Mrs for bringing flashy box thing.

Lovin you

Hey Bonnie. I loved seeing where you walk and what a smashing one all along the beach without tourist. Though I bet you have your fair share of fans along the way. All that sand to get in your furs and tootsies and bring home as a present for the leggeds. But Bonnie I didn't see you doing any rolling on the sand...hmm was that why you were on your lead?

I hope you are eating now Bonnie and not missing Puffy so badly.I know it will take some getting used to for you and the leggeds so I'm sending extra wirey kisses across the big pee. Remember to catch 'em on your next walkie.

Wiry love Eric xx

Thank dog you didn't have to wear the bows on a beacg hows a girl meant to go skinny dipping wearing something like that..heheee!!

Hi Bonnie, we would love to be able to go on a walk where you live - such a fun place to explore.

Thanks to your Mom for her tips for Ciara. That is the panties we have for her, but she is able to grab the velcro and pull them off. Mom says she might have to put her in an e-collar too:) She isn't dripping very much so that so far we are able to control it. Just hoping it doesn't get much heavier. She also managed to sprain her shoulder over the weekend and has been very quiet. Guess that's a good thing but not a good reason.

Thanks again.

Bonnie, you are so very lucky - how we would love to live beside the beach.
It looks beautiful and the wildflowers are pretty.
We could imagine the breeze.
We would not want humans to build on the beach - some things should be left to enjoy.

Man, that’s a great walkies place to have. I like walkies with my sissy Sheila the lab cause the hoomans thinks she is the culprit in the act of us roaming off thru the neighborhood :-) So daddy say's "Sheila Bad Girl" and I get away un-scathed :-) He say's Sheila should be old enough to know better. I hope I dont get that old.

You look like you’re having lots of fun!

Sunset walks are the best, aren't they Bonnie? (It's actually the only time we can put our tenderfeet on the sand without scalding them) And ... pizza? Thanks for the reminder. We used to go for ice cream after our walk. But so far not yet this summer. (Slackers!)

Enjoy! And have a bite of pizza for us,
Jake and Fergi
