Did you hear the joke about the 12 foot Scottie?

Bonnie is still rolling around on the floor..laffin!!!!
It's on the Great Scotts MacBlog:
Bonnie thought she'd like to share her smile on the crocodile.
We had a low key 4th of July....friends and family, ribs and brats..and this ICED TEA....
I have to share the recipe.
It was so light and refreshing...I had to make 2 batches!
It's from this months Southern Living with a small substitution:

Ingredients:
3 cups water
2 family-size tea bags
1 (1-oz.) package fresh mint leaves (about 1 cup loosely packed)
1/2 cup sugar
4 cups cold water
1 (6-oz.) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
Garnish: fresh citrus slices
Preparation
1. Bring 3 cups water to a boil in a 2-qt. saucepan. Remove from heat, add tea bags, and stir in fresh mint. Cover and steep 10 minutes.
2. Remove and discard tea bags and mint. Stir in sugar until dissolved.
3. Pour tea into a 3-qt. container, and stir in 4 cups cold water and lemonade concentrate. Serve over ice. Garnish, if desired.
****I used a cup of Bacardi's Limon rum....since that was all I had handy.
Oh....and it disappeared so fast it never got garnished!
the recipe said use either of these:
Bourbon-Lemonade Iced Tea: Prepare recipe as directed, and stir in 1 cup bourbon. Makes 9 cups.
Spiced Dark Rum-Lemonade Iced Tea: Prepare recipe as directed, and stir in 1 cup spiced dark rum. Makes 9 cups.
When the fireworks started, Bonnie barked for about 10 minutes. We were watching the fireworks outback, and she was inside guarding the front door. I think because the sound carried over the water and it sounded like it was in the front.
The doggies got a tinky bite of ribs....and lots of fresh carrot sticks...and smidgen of banana pudding.
Puffers was up and about socializing so much, that his knee gave out after everyone left. He was really in pain for a while...he wasn't able to put weight on it all evening. We gave him some pain pills and he was all better Sunday....well, as better as a 16 year old dog can be with a bad rear knee. Maybe it was all the sitting up and begging that aggravated it.
Bonnie doesn't beg. She's very polite and curls up under the table or hangs out in the living room. Well, unless I sit on the sofa with a snack, then it's all for one and the one is Bonnie.
Can I have some of that?
What?
That ice cream...the one with my nose in it! Can I have it?
Is your dog a beg-a-matic?
