My NEW sports bra

I went shopping yesterday and got a new sports bra....and I'm not sure I'm going to like it. I had an Easy Walk one but I outgrew it. I got the next size up and it was just too big. It was pretty and red though. This one is a cross your heart kinda getup and it goes under your pits. I'm concerned it might cause chafing or matting (I don't shave my pits...Puffers does, he's metro-sexual after all). Has anyone had any experience with this brand? It's called Canine Concepts. SHE says if this one is no good or bothers me, she'll see if she can get the Easy Walk one altered at the...get this....sail shop!!!!! The black leash is new too....kinda flimsy if you ask me....I'm thinking the first squirrel that crosses my path, this think is gonna snap and I'll have squirrel for din-din.

I hope you have enough support with that sports bra. I pity the first squirrel...

Yep, squirrels beware!

Just make sure you come back after dashing after that squirrel, if it happens. We can't handle any more runaway doggie stories for a while. 'kay?

(Sorry... we don't know much about that brand. You do look pretty athletic, however!)

That's cute. I like the heart. I miss my old harnesses. They've got me in the nose leash now. You think hairy pits are rough-- try a hairy nose.

...oh...you are just too pretty! Your MAW may want to look into a harness (to save the squirrels...tee hee) over at Tartan Scottie. It is the website of the folks that have Great Scots magazine. My MAW ordered me a tartan colar, harness and lead and...much to my dislike... it is quite sturdy (and handsome if I don't mind saying so me-self. ha.)
If you need more info, Maw said to email her at sweetcottagedreams1@comcast.net. She really likes my set alot. Fee already chewed the buckle on her new set...only because our groomer stuck it in the cage with her. duh!

We have used these, but unfortunately they don't last too long (maybe about 3 months at the longest). The little tightener thingy starts to pull out threads on the nylon and then before you know it the little tightener thingy pops apart. We have recently purchased tartan harnesses from Tartanscottie.com that are more substantial - Mom is doing an experiment now to see if they last longer than 3 months. Mom really liked the one like you are wearing because it gave her more control over us, but she thinks she shouldn't have to buy a new one every 2 or 3 months.

Hm - I'm not much of a sports-bra guy myself (thank goodness!). The only harness mom ever tried on me is much wider/flatter/softer than the little number you have on. Hard to find things that fit me too, my manly large/deep chest compared to my compact little body behind it... Just think of how much more style you could flaunt in a tartan harness :)

Wooos! Mom says that those do not work for us pulling breeds like me, a harness was used to teach dogs to pull things, so she does not want to be pulled down the streets, so I don't get one of those pretty models.
I hope that the squirrels are easy catching!

That gizmo doesn't look very sturdy to me. Surely there is an easy walk in your size? I mean they have some that fit my dumb brother and he is bigger than you.

I am not thinking it is very stylish so you might want to wear some bling when you go out to distract from that utilitarian look.

OMD...what an adorable sports bra!!! Frankly I um er well need a um pushie uppie one...I'm rather petite!!!

Mumsie thinks that those easy walk harnesses come in between sizes at some stores...Google Pet Expertise and look at the sizes...they come in small, small med, med, med large etc etc, unlike Petsmartie that just has them in the reg S, M, and L....Scruffy was in between sizes too and we tore up the internet tryin' to figure out what to do...

Let us know if that helps!

Barkin' at ya!!!

We loved your idea of calling our blog for today Rocky Horror Scottie Show, but for some reason we can't get in there to change it - stoopid satellite uplink. And we might just change it if we can get in there.

We just wanted to tell you a little about the carrot tail thingie. Piper would have a flag down to his ankles if Mom didn't keep up with his tail. She used to have a horrible time trying to get the inverted carrot, but this is what works for her.

Hold the end of the tail in your fingers (so you don't accidentally snip the tail) and round off the end. Once you do that, then lay the tail in your hand and comb the hair east and west - trim off at the "carrot" angle. Then comb the hair north and south and do likewise. Soon you will see the inverted carrot start to form.

Have a great day.
