Puffy's Bath Day!

Cujo Lives! Actually, it's just Puffers doing his best to look menacing. Dude...yer wet n nekked! Maybe if you snarled a little with yer 3 remaining toofers, you'd scare someone, but not me!
Bathing Puffy is an ordeal and that's just deciding on WHO has to do it. First the Mr. n She argue for 2 weeks over who and when. Then the Mr. 'forgets' its bath day several times. Finally She has a hissy fit and suddenly it's today. It starts off with a happy pill for Puffy and a stiff drinky for the peeps. Then it's scrubby dubby time and snip n buzz all the mats out.

After his haircut, Puffy got his nose stuck under the sofa and stayed there till supper time. I think he was trying to squish flat and slide under there and hide. Maybe he's part Ostrich and thinks if he can't see you, then he's all hidden out of sight? Or maybe he's just senile and goofy.

I, of course, slept through the whole drama with the mama thingy.....way too much whining, growling, yelping going on....and that was just the Mr.!

I prefer going to the groomers where I get cookies and I'm treated with respect like the swift warrior princess that I am. Plus I like the way Miss Debbie makes my nails shine when she buffs them.

We all have our own style! Hehehe! I can't imagine holding still long enough after a bath to stick my nose anywhere longer than a nanosecond! It's like a tornado around here! I can even make Fergi bark!

Happy weekend!

Oh it is ever so grand to be a Diva isn't it?? I so relate to having a sibling like Puufy..bilbo can be quite a handful when Mommy bathes him...but at least he is only seven pounds, so he can't get too out of control!!

Happy Sunday Smileys!

Definitely art Ostrich, we think. The poor babba... We don't like the baths much either but we always get a treat after. Long live the pig's ears!

Poor Puffers- how humiliating! Being a "wash & wear" sort of dog myself, I thankfully only have to put up with the humiliation of a bath on occasion (when I get "stinky"). Look out Ms. Diva Princess - I think you might be next (hide your whole body un der the couch, not just your head)!!

I'm with you. I only let the nice people at the salon give me the grooming. They really know how to pamper a dude.

Poor Puffers. Bath and haircut. I hate it all. Hate brushes too. Why are humans such clean freaks?

Hey!! Thanks for stopping by. I can't imagine how we never met before, especially since we have lots of friends in common.

Our human brother was at USF the last few years -- and directed the marching band -- so we used to come over frequently to visit and enjoy the town.

Anyway, we enjoyed trolling through your blog. Mom says that, when she was a little girl (hard to imagine) she had two tiny magnets of Scotties -- one white and one black -- that her grandfather had given her -- and looking at your photos brought that nice memory back.

Glad we have more weather alerters on the west coast -- it gets pretty scary, doesn't it!!

While Mommy tries to convince me that the bath is just the same as the swimming pool, I don't believe her for a minute. I just stand in the tub and look pathetic, but I do enjoy the brisk towel rubdown afterwards, then rubbing my damp body all over her nice rug/bedspread/sofa...you get the picture!

Your pal,

Petey
