Oh noooooooo! We had to see things like that happen to such nice doggies! We could barely stand check you blog when we saw the title... You poor girl! Couldn't you just promise not to lick your toe anymore?? Or couldn't they just put the cone around your paw? I mean there is nothing wrong with your head.... Gosh, I don't know what else to say, but if we lived close I'd already have that thing chewed off you! Hope your toesie is better real soon!

The HORROR! My dad just got a t-shirt that says "It's all fun and games until somebody ends up in a cone" and it has a picture of a dog wearing one of those torture devices! We are soooooo sorry about the cone and your toe!

You asked where I got my fancy harness, and I got it at Wiggles, Wags and Whiskers, or from 2Hounds Design! I hope that helps! A girl needs a velvet brassiere if she's going to wear it out in public!

Connor & Buddy won't wear these. I don't know what I'll do if one of them "has to wear" the dreaded cone. We tried one on Connor once, and he went bonkers....so the vet gave him "no lick" paste and it worked. Mumzie

Oh no..........my ma put one of those things around my head a couple of years ago....I had baaaaaaaaaaad allergies......the problem was, well I am sort of out of proportion, so when I tried to walk, my cone hit the floor......and I cried...and sat......and didn;t move..it was awful...
But you are smarter then me Bonnie, you'll figure it out!
I hope that your toe feels better soon!

Oh you poor thing. Charlie had to have the cone humiliation when he got neutered. I know it's tough to eat, drinking is a mess, and peripheral vision - forget about it! Maybe your toe will heal really quick but until then you look like a really cute fluffy flower.

I feel so badly for you, Bonnie! Mom tried to put one of those things on me after I had a surgery and I acted so pathetic that she took it off. Our advice is to act EXTREMELY pathetic! We hope it works for you too!

Love ya lots,

Oh dear , is there anything worse? When Wilf had to wear one it had to be changed every day because he would run into doors and between trees with it on. Every single one of them shattered. At least its only for a few days - isn't it?

Awww. Bonnie. We are so sorry. Mostly about your hurt paw. But also for your humiliation. Would it help to think of yourself as a pretty tulip? We doubt it, but we thought we'd at least try to give you some other way of thinking of your dilemma.

Feeling for ya. Hoping it won't be too long an ordeal.

Pee esS. We just remembered our neighbor Samantha. She wore one of those lampshades for a LONG time, and she got really good at scooping and flipping rabbit poo with it ... right into her mouth! It was hilarious! You might give it a try. Even if you have to use kibble!)

OH LORD! This isn't right, now is it? You're the prettiest thing, but that CONE HAS TO GO! Try not to think about your toe and get into that whiskey some more (without the Diet Coke). Glad to hear you peed on something. It happens to the best of us doesn't it? Get better soon. Roo Roo Stuart

Poor Bonnie!!! I noticed the date on this post, though, and am sure that by now you are out of that dreadful thing!

They weren't sure, when Mercy and I got "sprayed" if we would have to wear one of those things, but we didn't lick, so they didn't put them on us. My Dad said that he was afraid to put one on ME anyway, because that would have made me a SONIC WEAPON the way I bark and he was also afraid that I would deafen myself!!!
